21 October 2012 DER FRNDS,
I HAVE A FDR IN BANK AND SUBMITTED 15H. BUT IN CURRENT FY BANK HAS DEDUCTED TDS FOR PREVIOUS INTEREST ie FOR PREVIOUS F.Y. INTEREST WHEN I HAVE ALREADY SUBMITTED 15H AND FILL RETURN FOR PREVIOUS YEAR.
SO PLEASE ADVICE ME WHAT SHOULD I DO. OR I SHOULD CLAIM TDS AS REFUND FOR AY-2013-14 (ie next year)

IS THERE ANY PROVISION IN IT ACT UNDER THIS TDS CAN BE DEDUCT FOR PREVIOUS YEARS WHEN FORM 15H HAD BEEN SUBMITTED.

NO IN MY KNOWLEDGE

21 October 2012 if your income is below taxable limit, you can claim refund.

21 October 2012 How can the Bank deduct tds in the current year for the previous year, I think you are confused please recheck

BUT I HAVE ALREADY SUBMITTED 15H FOR CURRENT FY ie 2012-13.I ALSO CANT UNDERSTAND HOW BANK CAN DO IT.
I HAVE SEEN AS26 FOR AY.2013-14 AND IT SHOW THE DEDUCTION OF TDS.
ACCORDING TO THE PROVISION OF IT BANK CANT DEDUCT TDS FOR CURRENT YEAR ALSO WHEN 15H HAS BEEN SUBMITTED.

22 October 2012 Bank has not processed ur Form 15 H, this is the only conclusion which can be drawn.
