I have received a message stating that an order u/s 143 (1) on my PAN ID has been generated. What does this mean?

It means after filing of return , Income Tax Department will cross check with all available information like TDS etc will intimate if any errors etc. If no errors/ any additional liability no need to worry else you have to pay & close if there is any additional liability.
