Opting for ca of at age 35

I am 35 yrs of age.I am at present working and planning to quit job and do CA.
Will it be a good option to join at this age?
What is the scope of getting a job after completing the course may be at age of 40.

19 December 2013 age is no bar for doing CA and its only self confidence, determination and dediccation is required for doing ca...i will advice u not to quit job till u clear ipcc and then leave job and start articleship as till that tim u will be able to understand ca profession and course more deeply.

I am opting for direct entry option. In that case you have to do 9 months articleship and then write the exam.
I am very confident of passing it may be one group at a time
