Opening credit not tallying with return

My client's company has some ITC standing in the books but its not matching with the return. How can I adjust the diff ?

Incase ITC more than the return you need to write off ,if less than the return, need to adjust in current return with reducing

i guess, i put reducing, instead of increasing. you can increase in current return
