Online selling of COVID-19 supplies on Flipkart - Form 20A

02 June 2020 Dear Experts,

I am a trader engaged in sale of marble products, imported these COVID-19 supplies for the time being.
I am selling Mask & Infrared Thermometer(imported from China) on Flipkart portal. After 5 sale orders, now the portal is asking me for mandatory Form 20A license.
Can you please help me whether it is mandatory in my case?

Commonly used medical devices like nebulizers, blood pressure monitors, digital thermometers and glucometers have been notified as drugs under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, a step which will enable the government to ensure their quality and performance.

The Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) would regulate the import, manufacture and sale of these devices from January 1, 2020.

02 June 2020 Sir, at the time of import of these thermometers, no such license was being asked. This query turns up only at the time of 4th order at the Flipkart portal.
Whether the license should be taken even if the business is for a small period of time like 2 months?
