I have faced problem while filing revised return online. Actually I have filed the original return in Hard Copy (Physically) in time limit. Now I have realised some mistake in it and I want to file revised return online. But the error found that "This is your first return, so please choose Original instead of Revised". If I will file it as original, will it be valid ? or I must file it in hard copy ?

06 February 2011 You can File revised return online only and only if you have filed the original return online and have the 15 digit acknowledgement number.
you have to file the revised return physically.
