I have filed my friend's Salaried Income Tax Return Online (without digital signature)? I also sent the acknowledgement to Bangalore by ordinary post. Now how do I come to know that they have received the ack.?

You will have received the ack on the Email id provided in the itr.

SERACH IN www.incometaxefiling.gov.in then login your friends account then download the e-receipt from Banglore in 'MY ACCOUNT" section

Continuing Singh Ji, In "my account" go to "e-filing processing status" and click. Then either the status of filing or the acknowledgement will be displayed in the next coming screen which can be downloaded for records.
