10 January 2009 Dear Sir/ Madam,

Could you please provide some details for the following:

1.In case of online filing, is there any option for Revised Return ?
2.Return has been filed on 02/01/09 for Ass. Year 2008-2009.
3.XML file is showing Tax due, whereas it has already been paid because shown at wrong place in XML file.
4.If hard copy of acknowledgement would not be filed in 15 days, is there any possibility for “Deemed as Non Filing” and we can file again.
5.Or we have to file the same acknowledgment with TAX Due – Balance and Wait with TAX Payment proof on event of Demand of tax.

Please advice as soon as possible… if possible…

Option of revised return is also there in online filing.

12 January 2009 Thanks Ambani, here i need some more clarification on the topic...
1. i know there was option for revised return but in case of belated return it is not there.

2. if we would file hard copy of ITR 4, this would deemed fresh filing because we are not depositing the acknowledgement of online filing.... am i right ????????

3. Any disadvantage or negative effect of above filing on us ?????
