Old claims - missed deductions

My parents who are senior citizens have failed to avail the benefit under 80 TTA - this is because of lack of knowledge- Is there a way I can claim this now for the past years. I do not think rectification allows it.

These are genuine misses and am surprised how IT cannot allow this. This year I saw they have introduced a service called challan correction. Hope they allow this atleast for 1 previous or 2 past years.
