What is the obligation on service receiver if service provider does not deposit service tax to the govt.

Except in the cases of REVERSE CAHRGE, there is no obligation on the part of service receiver to ensure whether the service provider has duly deposited the service tax or not.

dear sir Mr. x owner of a commercial Building and he received a Rent Rs. 200000 per month from us but he is not issuing invoice. there is any obligation of service tax on us if yes what is?

There is no obligation for the service receiver if a party does not issue tax invoice to you. But one day or other the service tax audit people will find out this and the service provider has to face the penal provision.
