09 August 2012 Except in the cases of REVERSE CAHRGE, there is no obligation on the part of service receiver to ensure whether the service provider has duly deposited the service tax or not.

19 August 2012 There is no obligation for the service receiver if a party does not issue tax invoice to you. But one day or other the service tax audit people will find out this and the service provider has to face the penal provision.
