19 February 2010 is it mandatory for a co to follow sno. for resolutions passed from inception of the company.

However there should be resolution no. for each meeting separately.

For example:

BM no. 74 with resolution number 1,2,3.

BM no. 75 with resolution number 1,2,3,4 and 5.

19 February 2010 no its not mandatory but giving serial no. to every resolution is a good practice and usually at the time of efiling and some bankers ask for resolution no. so we can make it habit.

20 February 2010 I agree with Mr. Ankur. Sr. no. should be maintained board meeting wise.

Maintaining a serial no for all the meetings taken together is not called for.
