02 April 2010 Any one make me confirm whether there is any limitation in any provision maximum number of Shares in a Share Certificate.

02 April 2010 No such restriction at all in law. You may issue your share certificate with any number of shares with correct distinctive number of shares.

But it should be properly stamped as per law of the state. Also complete other formalities for issue of share certificate like signing etc in accordance with issue of share certificate rules 1960

03 April 2010 No restriction on number of shares...you will have to show the distinctive numbers assigned to each share. that is all
