why every business organization maintains three copy of each sale bills...
1 for party, 2nd for himself and whats the purpose of 3rd copy of bill....

25 October 2012 Mostly 3rd will be the transporter copy which carry along with the transport while delivery

25 October 2012 Many a times the things are done because they have been done for past so many years. As Ramesh rightly pointed out the third copy is meant for transporters. (If the transporter is not at all coming into picture... say in retail trade.... 3rd copy should be dispensed with)
