my friend had indain citizen have indain pan card, but now he is nri in usa(citizen). thus what type of income tax pan nomber effect or return file up

18 April 2014 If he is an NRI & his earning source is also from Foreign i.e, he is not earning any income from India or taxable in India then he must file return there only n not in India.

BUT IF HE HAVE NO INCOME THEN HE CAN FILE NIL RETURN OF INCOME.
