16 May 2013 Whether director presence is necessary in India while appointment as director in Indian company or documents/annexure could be signed by director from there only and send the documents through post to India.

17 May 2013 WHAT TO DO IS JUST COLLECT THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS AND FILE DIN 1 AND AFTER APPROVAL FILE FORM 32. BUT REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR NRI DIRECTOR HAS ONE DOCUMENT THAT IS RESIDENCE PROOF SHOULD NOT BE OLDER THAN 1 YEAR. WHICH RESIDENCE PROOF INDIAN RESIDENCE OR FOREIGN ADDRESS.

04 July 2013 Yes any director can be appointed in Indian Company but the consent letter must be procured and his presence in India need not be necessary. Then the question raised why he is made as a director. So there must be some resolution to be passed in the interest of the company and that resolution should also be uploaded with form No. 32. The term (period) for which he is appointed as a director should also be finalised.
