17 April 2010 Hi Guys!!!
I have a query that while filling service tax return we have to file a exemption notification number. Should this number is the basic notifcation number 6/2005 or amended notification number 8/2008 in which the basic exemption limit increase to 10 Lakhs..

So you mean the basic exemption has no more relevance, while i'm thinking that the later amendment notification is only for amendment and the basic exemption is prevalling.....

19 April 2010 Sorry, i am not in line with Mr Chackrapani. you should mention old notifiction with writing 6/2005 as amended. Because still this notification is not withdrawn and still in force.
