09 August 2017 I received a notice under sec.142(1) of Income tax Act last month. I have complied with the said notice. But, now I have again received a notice notice under sec.142(1) of Income tax Act. Kindly clarify how many times how many times notice under sec.142(1) of income tax can be issued.

09 August 2017 There is no cap on the number of times the notice can be issued. The notice is accompanied by a questionnaire wherein the A.O. will call for details that may be required to complete your tax assessment.
