Non receipt of pan card in physical form

11 July 2016 Hello All
I want your guidance. I have been allotted pan no in 2002 but not received pan card with letter. since then I am following up with tax authorities but not suceeded. On my last visit I came to know that the pan no has been marked duplicate.
Now my question is what can I do so that I can get my pan card in physical form.? I have been filling my returns online since then.
Pl advise and send the format of affidavit to file with the tax authorities.

11 July 2016 stop following up with department now......
apply for new card....(Please note the number will remain the same...ok?)
you will get the new card in 15 days.....(In case there is any change in details....the same may also get incorporated.....

11 July 2016 Better you have to apply correction or new card by quoting PAN allotted, if you want any correction like address, Signature mismatch, any other mismatch you tick respective column than file correction form.
