wants to open a BRANCH in India
What are the Permissions required
What is the Procedure
What are Statutory Complainces,Registrations under FEMA,RBI,Income Tax.....

11 November 2012 Starting a branch office geographically needs only one permission... that is from the local municipality or like body.... "under Shops & Establishment". The subsequent permissions are dependent on the KIND of operational activities your NGO intends to do in INDIA.

The NPO intends to carry on charitable work in India by transferring funds from abroad and also by generating local funds...
