experts
i had received a letter from income tax department regarding non filing of income tax return for A/Y. 2009-10 and 2010-11 subject- you have some income and deduct some tds
pls state the reasons on or before 26-10-2012
now the question is i had forgot to file the returns in time and the time limit for filling of income tax returns for the a/y. 09-10 and 10-11 is elapsed. now what i do
and the TDS amount is there
now going to file the income tax return
the income tax department is accepted the returns now filing for last years
else what i do

You must have received a notice u/s 142(1) asking you to file the return.
File the return u/s 142(1).

Yes, File return of income now under section 142(1) Department will accept it.
