Non credit of tds

06 March 2014 please help on d issue my employer had deducted tds of rs 87950/- but in income tax database it is not updated therefore I received a notice u/s 245 for adjustment of refund towards the demand raised total demand raised is approx Rs108500 aprrox I had form 16 along with me issued by my employer now department staff says get ur tds returns revised please help what to do?

06 March 2014 They can not say so. There are judgments which say that if you have evidence that your employer has deducted TDS then you are eligible to get credit.

I would suggest its better to represent through a CA.
