your question needs a voluminous answer.However, there are only a few changes in VAT rates in Karnataka.Tax is reduced w.r.t. to raw cotton,chillies,jewellery,precious semiprecious stones,wct of jewellery and deisel,and furnace oil surgical footwear black boards and ready to cook foods. Tax has been exempted on rice paddy,wheat,pulses,suji,atta and maida of wheat etc.
