28 August 2012 What is the net worth of a company? Is it Share Capital + Reserves & Surplus - Preliminary Expenses (to the extent not w/o) - Preoperative Expenses (to the extent not w/o). or

Net Worth = Share Capital + Reserves & Surplus - Preliminary Expenses (to the extent not w/o).

Specifically I wish to know whether preoperative expenses are to be deducted from Share Capital & Reserves to arrive at net worth of the company or not?
