This discussion addresses whether individuals of the Parsi religion can apply for a PAN card under the Hindu Undivided Family (HUF) status. The consensus is that Parsees, along with Muslims, Jews, and Christians, cannot form an HUF as it is a creation of law specific to Hindu traditions. While an HUF can include multiple generations descended from a common ancestor, this does not extend to Parsees. The thread also touches upon the general requirements and documentation for forming an HUF and applying for a PAN card under this status, though it doesn't detail alternative options for Parsees.

Muslim, Pareses, Jews and Christian can not have an HUF. An HUF can have four generation of descendents from a common ancestor as its members. An HUF is creation of law and can not be created by acts of the persons.
