Name change in partnership firm

20 December 2013 i have changed my company name to DL exports and imports on 16th sep 2013.on 20.rs stamp paper, under sec 59 of Indian partnership act 1932. with same firm reg number. pan is allotted on same previous number. vat/cst cancelled due to nil business from march 2012. new vat/cst issued on new name.
govt bankers are denying to open current a/c
in bank, they are asking for firm registration certificate on new name. firm registrar people are saying that one firm certificate will be only issued not on new name. DGFT people also denying to modify the new name.
what i have to do now. all procedures done by consultant.

20 December 2013 Dear Divya,

which place are you located at? I am sure Delhi and Mumbai allow for name change of the Firm. in Delhi you need to submit Form II to the registrar of firms for issue of new certificate. However, you will required a registered the addendum document for change in name. A Rs 20 stamp paper may not suffice.

22 December 2013 i am from Hyderabad. we need a proper guidance in this. for new name firm registration, we have to cancel old and new firm certificate, pan etc. and apply for new firm registration. is this process we need to
do. pls help us to get out of this problem.
