27 December 2010 I got name approval for a pvt ltd. i wud liek to extend the period by 30 days further as i couldn get things ready. which form should be used. can i make online application?

27 December 2010 Hi..

There is no such form for extension of time period within which the name has to be adopted.

The name once approved by ROC has to be adopted by the Board within 6 months from the date of approval. In case it is not adopted within the prescribed time period of 6 months, you have to start afresh.

u can extend only by 30 days beyond initial 60 days. also u must make a fee of Rs. 250/- i need to know the E-Form avail if any.

the period is changed from 6 months to 60/90 days vide notification in 2007

27 December 2010 you can renew the approved name for another 30 days by submitting Form-1AR on MCA portal before the expiry of initial validity period along with the fees of Rs. 250/-.

28 December 2010 Yes agree with Gangadhar. Application should be made before sxpiry of the initial validity period of 60 days. Maximum extention can be for another 30 days.
