It not only the rupee is appreciating. The doller is becoming weak against all currencies.
Even though it is good for economy, it will hit on export.
The RBI will interfear and stubilise.

Rupee appreciation for economy is dood to certain extent. It may harm exporters. It helps importers. But remember foreigners will have tough time.
