10 April 2008 how to ascertain that whether a company doing particular business falls under the category of micro,small and medium entp dev. act 2006. e.g. a company doing construction business ? what are the major advantages and disadvantages to the co.'s falling under this category ?

10 April 2008 It depends on the classification and the investment made.
in the example qestioned by u, for a service industry, the ceiling on investments are Rs. 10 lakhs, Rs. 2 Crores and Rs. 5 Crores.

Depending on the investment, they will be classified accordingly.
