23 December 2014 IS MGT-1 REQUIRED FOR ALL SHAREHOLDERS SINCE THE INCORPORATION (ALSO FOR THOSE WHO WERE CEASED) OF COMPANIES INCORPORATED UNDER COMPANIES ACT, 1956??

Yes.

However for the companies which are ceased no need to maintain register of members in MGT-1.

As per rule 3 of Companies (Management and
Administration) Rules, 2014, every company limited by shares shall, from the date of its registration, maintain a register of its members in Form No. MGT.1:
Provided that in the case of existing companies, registered under the Companies Act, 1956, particulars shall be compiled within six months from the date of commencement of these rules. i.e on or before 30th september, 2014

24 December 2014 is existing co. (Suppose Date Of Incorporation is 12-02-1995) required to maintain MGT-1 for all shareholders from the date of its incorporation??

Means details of all shareholders who are not member as on 01/04/2014 is to maintain in MGT-1 OR NOT??
