11 February 2015 We are showing in Salary Breakup as Medical allowance of Rs.1250/-. Is it exempted from Tax or not? If it is exempted Medical bills have to collect every month or one bill of 15,000/-.

11 February 2015 Allowance although paid on monthly basis, is expected to be spent by the person receiving it; as and when need arises. So the bill may be produced on annual basis (Financial Year basis)
