Meaning of actual days worked for calculating leaves allowed

As per ICAI, Leave period allowed to an article student is 1/6 th of the actual period served by him..
Can anyone tell me whether ICAI has given any clear information regarding "Actual period served" for such calculation (not in case of hours calculation). And if the article student works on saturday and sundays also, can he set off them against the leaves taken by him???

Yes can setoff against leave taken if your employer agrees for that.
yes actual working days means all days worked during articleship,...this setoff is in hands of employer and student need to agree for his decision
