25 July 2014 If I am director in a company(just 1 company, say X Co.), Do I need to file MBP 1 for that company?

25 July 2014 As per my opinion it is duty of that Company to collect your MBP.1 even if you do not have interest in other specified entities under section 184 of the Companies Act, 2013.

Form MBP.1 is to be filed through form MGT.14 along with copy of board resolution passed for taking note of the disclosure of interest.

25 July 2014 If the director has no interest in any other company firm ,BOI etc other than the company in which he /she is a director, no need of MBP-1.

Inference is from rule 9 of Companies (Meetings of board and its Powers) Rules,2014.
