30 July 2011 Good evening to all expert
Can any1 tell me that I left my current co. and join new company in previous company. deduct my tds from my salary first quarter. Than I want to ask u that my previous company . will deduct also three quarter tds from my salary. While I m not are doing job hare.

30 July 2011 Since you already left the job, without paying Salary they wont deduct TDS. further 3 quarter your new company only will deduct the TDS

31 July 2011 No,The old company is not liable to deduct TDS.

31 July 2011 If the salary in the old company is below taxable limit and you do not have any further income then the old company will not deduct any further tax. If tax has already been deducted, you file your return with 3 months salary you will get the refund of the TDS made by the old company as you do not have any taxable income.
