02 November 2012 If a manufacturer is supplying goods to exporter mainly garments and he is not having vat no. So the exporter cant issue h form as he is not having vat no.the exporter has exported the goods which he had purchased from him . The exporter has all the documents i.e. shippig bill',bill of lading,bank realisation certificatepls suggest that in the above case is the exporter liable to pay local vat or any other tax

14 November 2012 VAT has to be paid and if the goods are exported then the VAT can be claimed as refund but without VAT how anyone knows that the purchases are for export till the actual export is performed.

such Purchase made by exporter is called purchase from Unregistered dealer as per Gujarat Vat Act and exporter is liable for vat on Garment purchase as per prescribed rate.

29 December 2012 Under Maharashtra VAT Act there is no provision for payment on VAT on URD purchases as such will not liable on purchase side.
No tax is payable on export with valid documents.
