Is there any limit for managing director of a company?? Can company have any no. of managing directors??

The Companies Act, 2013 is silent about the provisions regarding appointment of Joint/Deputy Managing Director in a Company. However usually in large companies, Joint/Deputy MD is appointed as a position next to MD.Though there is no specific provision exist in any act/rule/regulation for the appointment. There is also no prohibition in this regard
