Making notes on the face of invoice allowable???

Hi all,
Can the buyer make any scribbling on the face of the invoice issued to him by the seller when he purchase goods or obtains any service.
If Yes, in such a case the input credit (VAT, Serv Tax etc) will be allowable to the buyer?????

contents of scribbing matters, he can make notes regarding, payment, acceptance, mode of storage etc, which does not temper the nature of invoice.
