29 December 2009 Is there any rule that an assessee should maintain his books for certain no. of years if he is liable to maintain u /s 44 AB

29 December 2009 Assessees are required to preserve the specified books of account for a period of 6 years from the end of the relevant assessment year, i.e., for a total period of 8 previous years.

Transfer Pricing documents and information specified under Rule 10D must be maintained for a period of 8 years from the end of the relevant assessment year, i.e., for a total period of 10 previous years.
