Mailing ITR-V to CPC BLR is applicable only w.e.f. AY 2009-10 and not for the previous years. This may be clarified with relevant notification of IT.

On a combained reading of the head line and para 10 of the CBDT Circular 3/2009 dated 21/5/2009 reveals that mailing of ITR V to Bangalore is for the assessment year 2009-10 alone.
