Dear expeets,
Mr x sold house property , full sale value give to his daughter for purchase of new flat, flat registered daugher name. Please advice if Mr. X owned a house 10 year back he is eligible for U/S 54

id new house is purchased in daughter name only then no deduction shall be available u/s 54
