Losting of huf deed

06 July 2016 Dear Sir, our one of the client want to close its existing HUF bank account from one bank and want to open Its New HUF account in othe bank nearby its business location but problem is that he had lost its HUF deed , then what remedy is available to him in order to open this account in the new bank. Further even though client does not have any xerox of the same.

07 July 2016 Deed is not required ....in fact in most of the NATURAL HUFs, there is no any deed. Deed is in vogue for those consultant made HUF....So, I dont think a bank officer should ask for DEED. And if some one is asking it for.....you can give AFFIDAVIT of KARTA, you can also give PAN, you can also show the proof of earlier bank account
