Long Term Capital Gain has arisen on a Commercial plot of land.
In this respect I want to know whether it is indexed or not & what will be the rate of taxation.

Plot of land as per income tax could be agricultural or non agricultural. Indexation shall be applied as per the index. (Current being 852)rate is same as that for LAND.

Indexation is available. Tax will be@ 20% on the capital gain.
