Can a US LLC Invest in an Indian LLP as a promoter partner ?
As per FDI Policy , Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) and Foreign Venture Capital Investors (FVCIs) can not make investments in LLP ?
If allowed to invest in LLP, what are all the steps which are needed to be followed ? (such as SEBI, FEMA and LLP Act)
Does an US LLC fall under the above FIIS category ?

As per FDI policy any foreign investment in LLP requires prior approval of FIPB.

Thanks for your response.
The above means that the US LLC would not fall under the FIIS category of FDI Policy.
(As FIIS and FVICs are not allowed to invest in LLP)
Also if the prior approval of FIPB is taken, any investment in LLP would be allowed ?
