Which type of dealers are liable for exise duty.And in which condition they are liable for exise.Tell me in Breif knowledge about exise duty.

29 December 2011 Manufacture and only those dealers who are register with excise department for the purpose of transfering excise duty)are liable to excise duty.

excise duty liability is on manufacturing of goods and payment is on removal of goods from registered premises in which they are manufactured.
