what is the liability of a director in a pvt ltd co. is it restricted to the tune of his share holding or even his personal assets also

In normal course of business, as a share holder his liability is restricted to his share capital. But as Director of Company, his liability is NOT restricted. He is liable for all his acts done for and on behalf of the company
