28 November 2022 Dear Experts
Whtats the difference between Vetting of documents and legal opinion

Thanks

28 November 2022 A careful and critical examination of documents that has to be executed in terms of law is called Legal vetting. It ensures the following:
monetary security
legal remedy
well defined issues
clarity of aspects and monetary terms, etc.
Where as a legal opinion is (in the form of a letter issued by a law firm) expressing legal conclusions and/or analysis of a specific transaction or view regarding certain issue. The recipient of the opinion will then rely on its contents as a basis for entering into the transaction.
Simply put, a legal opinion is issued by a lawyer or law firm by vetting the issue, to the client/seeker.
