What is the criteria for applicability of leave encashment in a private limited company??when does it apply??

24 September 2011 The expert has rightly pointed out that it is the internal policy of the company how much leave is allowed and if no leave is availed it is available for encashment.

If leave is encashed during the service period it is taxable as salary and after retirement it is exempted.
