Last Date for Maharashtra Vat assessment for FY 2005-06 & FY 2008-09

Under VAT laws the returns filed are self assessed and accepted. The department of Sales tax picks up some cases of dealers for special scrutiny and issue notices. Then only you should think of going for an assessment. Otherwise assessment are closed as soon as returns are filed...mjk
