I am a accountant at manufacturing company we are deducting Service Tax but not paying to department kindly give advice about last date for payment and how return will be filed online

27 August 2010 Service tax payment due date is 5th of the following month and March month is 31st March due date of payment

Returns Half yearly

April-Setember - Due date : 25th October
October - March - Due date :25th April

27 August 2010 IN case of company service tax is to be deposited monthly basis , 5th day of following month.
Return is filed half yearly basis
April to Sept is 25th OCT
Oct to Mar is 25th Apirl.

27 August 2010 u have to pay interst @13% for not depositing the service tax to deptt.
