15 September 2023 A piece of diverted land was sold and sale deed was registered wherein it is mentioned that the payment will be made in three instalments and accordingly post dated cheques were issued . First instalment cheque was cleared and other two instalment cheques got bounced . Based on the registered sale deed the purchaser got his name entered in the land records

What remedies are available to the seller against the purchaser. Please guide. Thanks

16 September 2023 Is it possible to request cancellation of the sale deed because of failure of the purchaer to make payment ?

Can a criminal case be filed against the purchaser for committing a fraud ?

16 September 2023 Cancellation of a sale deed is typically based on certain grounds recognized by Indian law. These grounds may include fraud, misrepresentation, coercion, undue influence, mistake, illegal or void transactions, or non-fulfillment of contractual obligations. Only through court it can be cancelled.
Criminal case can be filed against cheating of non payment.
