What is the procedure to obtain a Labour Licence ? And what are the crieteria's ?

Dear aamir,
First tell me You are covering under which state. and what is your status. There are two type of labour licence one is under the central Govt. and other one is under the State govt.
and there issue is that you are principal employer or contractor.
if you are contractor and u want the labour licence under the central govt. then you need to procure the Form 5 from the principal employer.
If you covered under the state govt. then you need to submit copy or your work order.
and also tell about the type of work for you want labour licence.
